More Infomation
First of all an virus is a microorganism without any cells that can cause harm. But viruses cannot reproduce on their own but they only can be on a host. The host will be injected the virus DNA and then after that more viruses spawn. The good thing to the virus is that it can collect some of the host's DNA too. And also viruses are of course smaller than bacteria.
A bacterium is also a microorganism that can cause harm or sometimes can be very good for for for example Normal Flora. A bacterium has many cells. Bacteria can cause harm that can kill many people but also they live and help us for the bacterium in our digestive track, and they break down our food that we eat in our stomach. Some bacteria live in our food; cheese is one of them.

Viruses and Bacteria work by going inside the host body and making more of them selves, they also may cause disease to the hosts body. They can be transmitted in many ways including air borne transmission, the flu is one of a virus example.
